Mírzá Ismá’il-i-Vazír was a wealthy nobleman and minister to the Sháh of Persia. He is the father of Ásíyih Khánum and grandfather of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá. He is the great-great-grandfather of Shoghi Effendi.
