Lubbock is a city in Texas which serves as the county seat of Lubbock County. Its population is over 250,000.
History[edit]
The Faith was likely introduced to Lubbock by Roy Wilhelm who taught the Faith to some interested residents of the city by correspondence in the 1930's, and in 1936 the Faith's Library Division donated Bahá'í literature to a local Lubbock library.[1] Wilhelm visited the city in person in the mid-1930's and by February 1937 two Lubbock residents had become Bahá'ís.[2]
