In a Blue Haze

From Bahaipedia
Jump to:navigation, search

In a Blue Haze: Smoking and Bahá’í Ethics by Udo Schaefer discusses the medical and socio-political aspects of smoking. These issues have long been under discussion, yet the ethical issues involved have hitherto been ignored. Nevertheless, the theme of smoking is secondary in this book. Tobacco consumption is used to illustrate and delineate the contours of Bahá’í ethics, as religious ethics which has only very recently become the subject of academic analysis.
