Ihsánu’lláh Mihdi-Zádih (November 3, 1948 - April 30, 1981) was a Persian Bahá’í who was martyred in Iran.
Biography[edit]
Mihdi-Zádih was born in Shiraz in 1948. He married in 1967 and had a daughter and he pioneered to Ras Al-Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates with his family for a few months in 1969. After returning to Iran he served on the Bahá’í Cemetery Committee of Shiraz.[1]
On May 3, 1980, Mihdi-Zádih was arrested and held in Adilabad prison and he was executed by firing squad alongside two other Bahá’í prisoners on April 30, 1981. The authorities initially intended to bury the Bahá’ís without informing the families however the gardener of the cemetery convinced the authorities to inform the families and they were buried in accordance with Bahá’í law.[1]
