Ihsánu’lláh Khayyámí

Ihsánu’lláh Khayyámí (1921 - April 12, 1982) was a Persian Bahá’í who was martyred in Iran.
Biography[edit]
Khayyámí was born in Hamadán in 1921. He completed his schooling in the city then worked in a Bahá’í owned factory for eight years. In 1962 he moved to Urmia where he began teaching Bahá’í children's classes and married in 1965.[1]
On October 20, 1981, Khayyámí's home was raided by Revolutionary Guards and he was arrested, initially being held in an unknown location for fifteen days where he was severely tortured. He was executed by firing squad on April 12, 1982. His family was informed of his execution the following day and he received a Bahá’í funeral attended by friends and family.[1]
