Ibráhím Khayrkháh (1927 - February 22, 1982) was a Persian Bahá’í who was martyred in Iran.

Biography[edit]

Khayrkháh was born into a Muslim family in Langarud in 1927. He completed primary school in Langarud then began working in the construction industry in several cities ultimately establishing his own construction business in Mazandaran.[1]

In 1974 Khayrkháh became a Bahá’í. On January 10, 1982, he was arrested in Babulsar and imprisoned in a military prison. He was later transferred to a police prison then to Evin prison on February 19. He was executed by firing squad on February 22, 1982, and his family was not informed of his death until a few days afterward. His body was not returned to his family for burial.[1]
