Holy Family

Holy Family The Bahá’í Holy Family consists of the children of Bahá’u’lláh and His first wife Ásiyih Khánum, entitled Navváb. The two had seven children, but only three survived into adulthood. These three were:

  • Abbás (‘Abdu’l-Bahá)
  • Bahá’íyyih (Bahíyyih Khánum)
  • Mihdí (Mírzá Mihdí)

Holy Family is also used to describe Shoghi Effendi and the wives of Shoghi Effendi and ‘Abdu’l-Bahá:

  • Munírih Khánum
  • Rúhíyyih Khanum
