Holly Hanson

Dr. Holly Hanson is a Bahá’í who has authored books related to the Bahá’í Faith. In her professional career she is a Professor of History.

Background[edit]

Hanson completed a PhD at the University of Florida in 1997 and began working at Mount Holyoke College as an Assistant Professor the same year. In 2004 she became an Associate Professor and in 2011 a Professor of History also at Mount Holyoke College.[1] She currently teaches courses on African history, the history of global inequality, and the history of small-scale agriculture as well as conducting research on the history of Uganda.[2]
