Fritzi Shaver

Fritzi Shaver (1895 - 1958) was an American Bahá’í who pioneered to Switzerland where she help establish the country's Bahá’í community.
Biography[edit]
Shaver was born in America in 1895. As of the early 1940's she had become a Bahá’í and was living in Minneapolis, Minnesota, but in 1943 she pioneered to Sioux Falls, South Dakota, where her sister was living.[1]
In 1947 Shaver pioneered to Switzerland with her sister, Elsa Steinmetz, settling in Berne,[1] and their teaching efforts contributed to the establishment of the Local Spiritual Assembly of Berne in 1949.[2] The sisters pioneered to Basel in 1953 at the request of the European Teaching Committee.[2]
In 1956 Shaver pioneered to Luxembourg however after a few months she became seriously ill and returned to Basel where she lived with her sister again. She was unable to recover and passed in 1958.[1]
