Enoch Tanyi
Enoch N. Tanyi (b. 1954) is a Cameroonian Bahá’í who has authored books on the Bahá’í Faith.

Tanyi was born in Cameroon in 1954 to David and Esther Tanyi. When he was a few months old the family pioneered to Togo and in 1957 they pioneered to Ghana where he lived until the family returned to Cameroon in 1988.[1] In his professional career Tanyi has worked for the International Council for Research in Agroforestry in Cameroon and the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture in Nigeria. He has also volunteered for the Bahá’í Office of Social and Economic Development serving as an assistant coordinator for a resettlement project in Eastern Cameroon.[1]
Tanyi has been an active member of the Bahá’í Faith throughout his life serving on the first Youth Committee of Ghana, on the National Spiritual Assembly of Ghana, and as an Auxiliary Board member in Ghana. After returning to Cameroon he was elected to a Local Spiritual Assembly of Yaounde and in 2015 he was appointed to the Cameroon Bahá’í history task force by the National Spiritual Assembly.[1]
