Elise Schreiber

Elise Schreiber (d. 26 February 2012 Elise Lynelle) was a Knight of Bahá’u’lláh named for pioneering to Equatorial Guinea (formerly Spanish Guinea) and Sao Tome and Principe (formerly St. Thomas) in 1954.
Elise traveled from the United States to Bata, Spanish Guinea on 17 May 1954. Unable to make contact with some of the African population due to race restrictions she taught a Spaniard named Jose Ramos Espinosa who accepted the Faith.
Later, in June of the same year she traveled with a group of surveyors and had the opportunity to meet, and teach the Faith to the King of the island, Santiago Uganda Mdelo and his nephew, Edward Robinson, both of whom accepted.
Elise passed away at around 8:45am on 26 February 2012 in Grass Valley, California.
