David Podger

David Podger is an Australian Baháʼí who served on the National Spiritual Assembly of Australia.

David was introduced to the Faith by Meg Degotardi and attended a Baháʼí Summer School at which he heard Peter Khan talk and met Clara Dunn.[1] He declared in 1957 and married Meg in 1961, however she passed away in 1963.[2]
He was elected to the National Spiritual Assembly of Australia in 1962 and served on the body until 1965 when he moved to Papua New Guinea with his second wife Sue and they lived there until 1976. In 1978 David moved to the World Centre and served in the Data Processing Office until 1984. He returned to Australia and was re-elected to the National Spiritual Assembly in 1986 and served on it until 1994.[3]
