Daniel Pierce Olam (b. 1975) is a Baháʼí serving as a Counsellor for Australasia.
Background[edit]
Pierce's father, Charlie, was a Baháʼí who served as an Auxiliary Board member and in January 1987 he accompanied his father on a teaching trip across Santo Island in Vanuatu on foot at the age of twelve.[1] As of 2004 he was living in Tahiti and serving as an Auxiliary Board member and that year he spoke at the opening of a Baháʼí Center in French Polynesia.[2] He married Delia Olam who is a musician and contributed guitar to her 2012 album HELLO … i Like You.[3]
In 2015 Pierce was first appointed as a Counsellor by the Universal House of Justice,[4] and in 2018 he participated in a Conference at the Baháʼí World Centre sharing his experience working with youth in Timor-Leste.[5] In 2021 he joined the International Environment Forum.[6]
