Bihrúz Saná’í (March 21, 1950 - December 17, 1980) was a Persian Bahá’í who was martyred in Iran.
Biography[edit]
Saná’í was born into a Bahá’í family near the city of Babul in 1950. His family pioneered to the village of Agh Ghala in 1954 and he was raised there until moving to Tehran to attend high school.[1]
After completing high school Saná’í completed an engineering degree then began a career as a merchant with his job allowing him to pioneer to several regions of Iran. In 1976 he married and in 1977 he settled in Tehran. He was arrested on July 5, 1980, and held in Evin prison until being executed by firing squad on December 17, 1980.[1]
