Berita Bahá’í

From Bahaipedia
Jump to:navigation, search

Berita Bahá’í was the first newsletter published in Malaysia. It ran from 1964 to 1965 following the election of the National Spiritual Assembly in 1964. It was followed by the Malaysian Bahá’í News publication that was started in 1965. The newsletter was distributed during the 19-day feasts for the first year after the election of the NSA.

"From January 1971 to 1972, Dr. M. M. Sreenivasan produced the "Berita Bahá’í", a two-page circular with important news items, and sent it across the country. This has nothing to do with the first publication bearing the same name.

In 1971, the National Spiritual Assembly launched the "Light of the Age" an excellent deepening material in simple language... in 1972, the newsletter came to be suspended"
