Discussion
- A little context for people like me who weren't aware: Malay–Indonesian (or just Malay) includes dialects that are standardized and spoken in different countries (e.g. Malaysia and Indonesia) and are mutually intelligible. Despite this, there are some differences which would mainly affect writing style.
- This is a really interesting request, especially since there used to be a Malay Bahaipedia! That project eventually went inactive, but if this one is well supported it could work out. One issue that would have to be resolved relates to style, as mentioned: Is there a preferred, "neutral" Malay dialect that is suitable to most or all readers? What would be the policy on the use of national dialects (i.e. when to use each, and how)? And so on. Dragfyre (talk) 10:42, 5 May 2025 (+08)
