A Japanese version of Bahaipedia; there is a sizable Japanese Baha'i community with plenty of history, and there is even existing scholarship in Japanese out there (Ass'n. for Baha'i Studies in Japan). Having a Japanese version of Bahaipedia might help to support this scholarship and give the friends another place to send potential seekers to find reliable sources of information.

Discussion

Just leaving this here as there is some behind-the-scenes talk of creating a new Japanese version of Bahaipedia. I don't speak much Japanese so don't know how much I will be able to contribute meaningfully for articles, but I will gladly help with the infrastructure (porting templates, modules, etc). • i can help outside of the language itself, pointing and colecting resources….Smkolins (talk) 10:23, 30 April 2025 (EDT)

Update: At this time we are still looking for enough talented individuals who have a good command of the language who might be able to support the project. Once we have, say, two or three users in the list above who can write reasonably well in Japanese, I think we can go ahead and set up the new site. Dragfyre (talk) 12:38, 4 May 2025 (+08)
