Bahá’í Administration
Bahá’í Administration is a compilation of letters and messages from Shoghi Effendi which outline the principles of the Administrative Order of the Bahá’í Faith. It was first published in 1928, but a revised edition with additional text was published in 1941 which is the current version.
The first part of the book includes excerpts from the Will and Testament of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá. The second part consists of almost fifty letters written by Shoghi Effendi addressed to the Bahá’ís of the United States and Canada from January 21, 1922 to July 17, 1932. Some of the topics covered in the letters are the duties of National and Local Spiritual Assemblies, National Conventions, the nature of Bahá’í elections and consultation, the persecution of the Faith in Persia and Russia, and other subjects.
