Asadu’lláh Kámil-Muqaddam

Asadu’lláh Kámil-Muqaddam (March 27, 1920 - May 2, 1984) was a Persian Bahá’í who was martyred in Iran.

Background[edit]

Muqaddam was born in Babul in 1920 and completed his elementary education and began working in the city. He married in 1943 then moved to Behshahr where he served on the Local Spirital Assembly. He moved to Tehran with his family in 1951.[1]

On October 27, 1983, Muqaddam's home was raided and he was arrested being held in a police prison and Ghasr prison being transferred between the two repeatedly for three months. In March 1984 he was transferred to Evin prison and he passed away due to a heart attack while in prison on May 2. His body was not returned to his family for burial.[1]
