Alexandria is a city in the U.S. State of Virginia. It is the sixth largest city in Virginia by population.

A Local Spiritual Assembly for Alexandria was established in 1944.[1]
In 1964 the Mayor of Alexandria, Frank E. Marin, expressed support for a Bahá'í World Peace Day event.[2] In 1967 an Auxiliary Board Team Conference attended by 155 people, including Hand of the Cause Zikrullah Khadem, was held in Alexandria.[3]
