Ahmad Kaveh

Ahmad Kaveh (July 24, 1935 - January 26, 1987) was a Persian Bahá’í who was imprisoned and martyred in Iran following the 1979 Revolution.
Biography[edit]
Kaveh was born in Bagh-e Bahadoran in the Persian province of Isfahan into a Muslim family. He completed high school with a diploma in Persian Literature. He became a Bahá’í in 1958.[1]
In December 1984 Kaveh was arrested in Tehran and held at the Pul-e-Rumi Revolutionary Komiteh detention centre before being transferred to a prison in Isfahan. In approximately May 1985 he was placed in solitary confinement and severely tortured before being executed by firing squad in Isfahan on January 26, 1987.[1]
