Dr. Agnes Ghaznavi is a Bahá’í who has served on the National Spiritual Assembly of Switzerland and as a Continental Counselor for Europe.
Background[edit]
Ghaznavi was born in America but later moved to Europe. In her personal life, she married Bijan Ghaznavi. Professionally, Agnés worked as a psychiatrist specializing in marriage counseling, while Bijan was a psychologist.[1]
As of 1980 Ghaznavi was serving as the secretary of the National Spiritual Assembly of Switzerland and that year she was appointed as a Continental Counselor for Europe by the Universal House of Justice.[2] She was appointed for a second and final term as Counselor in 1985.[3]
