‘Abdu’l-Vahháb Kázimí-Manshádí

‘Abdu’l-Vahháb Kázimí-Manshádí (1902 - September 8, 1980) was a Persian Bahá’í who was martyred in Iran.
Biography[edit]
Manshádí was born in Manshad in 1902. He married and raised his family in Manshad, established a professional career as a farmer, and served on the Local Spiritual Assembly.[1]
When the Iranian Revolution began his farm was attacked with his house being ransacked and a barn being burnt down and his wife passed a way a few days later. After his wife passed Manshádí's children attempted to convince him to leave Manshad but he refused. Revolutionary guards raided his home and abducted him, beating him and ragging him into a car, and they began driving to Yad. During the journey they decided against driving all the way to Yazd and threw Manshádí out of the vehicle and he was driven by a passing truck driver to Taft and was able to make his way home to Manshad.[1]
The morning after returning to Manshad Manshádí was arrested and taken to Yazd where he was executed on September 8, 1980, alongside several prominent Bahá’ís.[1]
