‘Abbás-‘Alí Sádiqípúr.

‘Abbás-‘Alí Sádiqípúr (1916 - July 15, 1982) was a Persian Bahá’í who was martyred in Iran.

Biography[edit]

Sádiqípúr was born into a Muslim family in Najafabad in 1916. He joined the army in his youth and eventually achieved the rank of Colonel. He was posted to Shiraz as a Colonel and became a Bahá’í after settling in the city.[1]

On March 12, 1982, Sádiqípúr was arrested in Shiraz and taken to Adilabad prison. He was executed on July 15, 1982, with his family not being informed until three days later. He was buried by his family in accordance with Bahá’í law.[1]
