‘Alí Khán

From Bahaipedia
(Redirected from 'Alí Khán)
Jump to:navigation, search

‘Alí Khán was the warden of the fortress of Máh-Kú where the Báb was confined for 9 months from July 1847 to April 9, 1848. 'Alí Khán had a domineering personality but softened to eventually allow the believers to visit, one of whom was Mullá Ḥusayn. This turn of events caused Hájí Mírzá Áqásí to transfer the Báb to Chihríq on April 10, 1848.[1]
