Bahá’u’lláh taught that God educates mankind through a process of progressive revelation. By progressive is meant the teachings of a Prophet or Manifestation of God expand upon the religious teachings of past Messengers, and anticipate further revelation by God in the future.[1] By revelation is meant the teachings, laws, writings and guidance sent by God for mankind that are relevant to a particular time or place. Bahá’ís recognize the truth of the revelations brought by Muhammad, Jesus, Buddha, Moses, Zoroaster, Krishna, and Abraham to be divinely inspired. Other Prophets have appeared whos names have been lost to history.
