The National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of the Republic of the Congo is the national administrative body responsible for the Bahá’í community of the Republic of the Congo.
History[edit]
The national Bahá’í community in the Republic of the Congo was previously administrated by the National Spiritual Assembly of Congo & Gabon which formed in 1971,[1] however the body was disbanded when religious minority groups including the Faith were outlawed in the Congo in 1978.[2]
The government of the Republic of the Congo legally recognized the Bahá’í Faith as an independent religion in 1992,[3] allowing for the National Spiritual Assembly to be formed that year.[4]
